CWP was contracted by Elizabeth River Project to design various ditch retrofit projects. Included in this project was a filter strip and grass channel that were amended with 10% biochar (by volume) to a depth of 1'.
There wasn't a reliable source of biochar during this time, making it difficult for the construction contractor to procure the biochar.
